In 1971 after borrowing $800 from his mother Mr. Rowland founded what is now W.W. Rowland Trucking Company. After spending several years in the LTL Trucking Industry Mr. Rowland decided to move forward on his own. During the past 27 years Mr. Rowland has expanded his knowledge of the Intermodal Industry by consistently taking on new opportunities. Mr. Rowland's philosophy and belief has been that ``a company is made up of people, when you have the best people you have the best company."
